“If I have to…” Bruno Fernandes addresses leaving Manchester United this summer

Bruno Fernandes has addressed his chances of leaving Manchester United following INEOS’ decision to consider offers for almost every player this summer.
Manchester United are set to make wholesale changes to their first-team squad this coming summer transfer window, with many of those currently under Erik ten Hag‘s helm possibly leaving Old Trafford.
This does not come as much of a surprise, with INEOS working under a limited budget during the upcoming summer window due to profit and sustainability restraints.
Although Rasmus Højlund, Kobbie Mainoo, and Alejandro Garnacho are said to be untouchable assets, all other players, such as Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, do have a price at which a sale would be considered should the right bid come in.
Fernandes has been United’s club captain this season and a leader ever since he joined Old Trafford over four years ago, and has spoken surrounding his chances of leaving the club this summer.
“I’m not thinking about other things at the moment,” he said when asked if there was any chance he could leave United and the Premier League.
Obviously, it doesn’t just depend on me, does it? A player always has to want to be here, but at the same time, you have to want him to stay. At the moment, I feel there’s that on both sides,” Bruno Fernandes told DAZNPortugal.
“I’m not thinking too much about the future, not least because, obviously, this season hasn’t been at the level I’d hoped for, either individually or collectively, so far. We could still end the season by winning the cup. After that, we have a very important Euros coming up.
“So, if you want me to be very honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the EUROs because nothing will be able to take my focus away from the FA Cup final and the EUROs, as there’s nothing more important than that at the moment.”
A report from the BBC on Monday afternoon said it would take “a mega offer” in order for United to consider his sale.
